Fleece lining is the common choice: warm, soft and easy to wash. Thicker fleece is warmer but makes small parts harder to feel, so warehouse picking in winter often uses a thinner fleece than outdoor construction.
Thermal linings add warmth without as much bulk, but they still trade some finger feel for heat. There is no lining that is both the warmest and the most dexterous — the job decides the balance.
Tell us the temperature range and the task. Cold storage at −10°C and outdoor loading at 0°C do not need the same glove, and ordering one glove for both usually means it is wrong for one of them.
