Cotton and polyester string gloves look almost the same on a photo, but they behave differently on the job. Cotton is softer and more breathable, so it feels better in hot warehouses. Polyester is tougher, sheds less lint, and holds up better when gloves are washed again and again.
For food handling, electronics and clean assembly, low lint matters — polyester or a polyester blend is usually the safer pick. For general handling, gardening and short jobs, cotton comfort often wins.
Blends exist for a reason. A cotton–polyester blend keeps much of cotton's comfort and much of polyester's wear, and it is the default choice for many everyday orders. Tell us the working environment — hot, wet, dusty, clean — and we will suggest the yarn.
